Terms of Use

Effective date: June 25, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Chance mobile application (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Educational tool — not gambling

Chance is an educational tool and a simulation. It is NOT a gambling product, casino, or game of chance. No real money is used, wagered, deposited, or won within the App. There are no cash prizes and no betting of any kind.

2. Informational nature of calculations

The probabilities and odds presented by the App are produced by statistical simulation and are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They do not guarantee any outcome, do not predict the result of any real game, and do not constitute betting, financial, or gaming advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make.

3. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old, or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction, to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. License

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works from the App, and you may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or attempt to extract its source code, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

5. Purchases and refunds

The App offers a single one-time in-app purchase (Pro), which removes advertising and unlocks additional trainer quizzes and a higher opponent count. It is not a subscription and does not renew. All purchases and any refunds are processed by and subject to the rules and policies of the Apple App Store. We do not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside of Apple's processes.

Purchase status is managed through RevenueCat, a third-party service that validates your Apple receipt and tracks your entitlement anonymously. RevenueCat does not receive your payment details.

If you reinstall the App or use a new device, you can restore a previously made Pro purchase through the App at no additional charge, subject to your being signed in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.

6. Advertising and analytics

Unless you purchase Pro, the App displays interstitial advertising provided by Google AdMob. The App also uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data. Your interaction with advertising and the data collected by these services is subject to our Privacy Policy and to the respective providers' own terms and privacy policies.

For users in the EEA/UK, the App presents a consent dialog (powered by Google's User Messaging Platform) before collecting data for advertising and analytics.

7. Apple Standard EULA

Unless you have entered into a separate written agreement with the developer, your license to use the App is governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA), which applies in addition to these Terms. To the extent of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA regarding your license to use the App, the Apple Standard EULA governs.

You can review Apple's standard license terms here: Apple Standard EULA.

8. Apple as third-party beneficiary

These Terms are concluded between you and the developer only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. However, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you. Any maintenance, support, warranty, product-liability, or legal claims relating to the App are the responsibility of the developer and not Apple, except as set out in the Apple Standard EULA.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services: Google Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob, Google User Messaging Platform, and RevenueCat. By using the App you acknowledge that these services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Links to those policies are provided in our Privacy Policy.

12. General

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Apple Standard EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the App.
